installing a PA system in my car?
i just bought a PA system for my car.
it comes with an amp, a mic, and a speaker.
it says to hook the amp up to a 12v battery (that is the car battery correct?
im not supposed to hook the amp directly to the car battery am i?
do i hook it up to a fuse underneath my steering wheel?

yea, i agree with Rick.
with the kit that you buy, u will connect the power cable to the battery. the ground for your amp will go from the vehicles' chasis, there for a clean surface with out paint and oil/dirt is recommended for the best performance.
to add to his answer, connect the fuse that will be running on the positive (+) cable close to the battery. this is very important because if at any time theres a short on the power cable, the fuse will blow instead of having your car catch on fire.
on a side note, ive use knuknoceptz power cables for alot of builds and they are great.
