I have 4x6 and 6x9 ALPINE TYPE S speakers in my sunfire, will a mini amplifier help?
I have a pontiac sunfire with a 4x6 and 6x9 ALPINE TYPE S aftermarket speakers from alpine and aftermarket alpine ida-x303 head unit. When I put the front speakers kind of high they get crackly, If I bought the ktp-445 alpine mini power pack amp would i see a difference in sound quality? would it stop the crackling or should I only use this for alpine TYPE R speakers?
Turn the bass down. Those speakers are not meant to produce low frequency sound and they will get ruined if you keep the bass turned up. If you want bass you will have to buy subwoofers. And yes the amp will make them louder but will also blow them faster if you turn the bass up. Hope I have been helpful.
